Backcountry Tours

Join the Adventure Haus, and EXUM guiding service, for the  true definition of “the greatest snow on earth.” The Wasatch offers skiers and snowboarders of all abilities access to hundreds of acres of wide-open powder fields, unbelievable tree skiing, and steep chutes for the more advanced. Join the Adventure Haus and EXUM guides for an unforgettable backcountry adventure.

All safety gear, including avalanche beacons, shovels and probes will be provided. (The guest will need to rent or provide their own, climbing skins, binding adapters, or touring skis, and or split snowboard.)

Snowshoe Trips

If you are looking for an enchanting, serene experience, join an Adventure Haus guide through the backcountry of Utah on a set of snowshoes. You will experience native wildlife in their winter habitat, and the Heber valley covered in a blanket of snow.
So bring your camera and capture the beauty of a Utah winter.
Our professional guides will tailor the snowshoe tour to correspond to the ability level of the guest. If you are setting out for the first time on snowshoes, or you are a seasoned veteran, our guides will make this tour one to remember.

Hot Air Balloon Rides

Experience the tranquility of drifting with the wind suspended in mid-air by hot air. Enjoy spectacular aerial views of the Heber Valley. Let our professionally licensed pilots treat you to an experience of a lifetime. Most rides are mornings at sunrise. This is a great activity for large groups as well.
Hot Air Ballooning is available Year Round, and will fly tours Monday through Saturday. (WEATHER PERMITTING)

With a starting elevation of 8000 feet, we offer the best snow and the longest season. Over 200 miles of groomed trails await for exploring, along with thousands of acres of deep powder meadows to get out and play in. Our guides are professional and certified and willing to accommodate to your individual desires. With our variety of rides and the freedom to cover thousands of acres of snow covered meadows and miles of groomed trail, you will be 100 % satisfied that you came to really experience a Utah backcountry snowmobile trip adventure.

Tubing

Soldier Hollow in Wasatch Mountain State Park near Midway offers the longest tubing lanes in Utah. The hill has lengthy 1,200-foot sliding lanes with lift service for towing people up the hill for tubing day or night under the lights, and a sound system keeps the airwaves full of enjoyable tunes. The hill runs 2 hour sessions on every even hour from 10 am to 10 pm. Reservations are required.

Cross Country Skiing

Ski on our new easy trails or challenge yourself on Olympic courses. We have immaculately groomed trails for first timers, cross over downhill skiers and expert skaters or classic ‘striders’. Soldier Hollow features a full service Rossignol Demo Center with both skate and classic equipment rentals, a Ski School that specializes in Learner Packages and scenic tours.

Olympic Bobsled Rides

Experience the ride of a lifetime on our Comet Bobsled! One of our professional pilots takes three passengers on a thrilling ride down the entire length of the Olympic track. In less than a mile, you'll rip through 15 turns, reach speed of about 80 mph, and experience up to 5 G's of force. An experienced driver takes three passengers on a thrilling ride down the entire length of the Olympic bobsled track.

Scuba Diving

The Homestead Crater is the only warm water diving destination in the continental US and attracts many diving enthusiasts. Enjoy diving in the 90 degree crystal blue mineral water with an SSI Certified Scuba Instructor.

Scuba Dive Certified divers can explore the warm waters of the crater for a maximum of 35-minutes and a depth of 55-feet. Weekdays: $22 Weekends: $27 Rental equipment: $25 Tank only: $7.50

Train Rides

The Heber Valley Railroad is Utah's magnificent steam & diesel passenger railroad. It's an historic tourist attraction based in Heber City, Utah. Trains cross the farmlands of the Heber Valley, follow the shore of Deer Creek Lake and descends into a majestic and breathtaking canyon. The track follows the Provo River to Vivian Park in Provo Canyon.
Over 95,000 passengers ride the train each year and that number is steadily growing.
